Lead Tile Installer

Experienced Tile Installer – Bathroom Remodeling

Stag Construction is looking for an experienced tile installer to join our remodeling team.

We specialize primarily in high-quality bathroom remodels throughout the Greensboro / Oak Ridge / Summerfield area, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and knows how to produce clean, professional tile installations.

This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who already understands tile installation and can be trusted to complete work correctly without constant supervision.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing shower wall tile, bathroom floors, shower floors, backsplashes, niches, benches, curbs, and other tile work
• Installing standard and large-format tile
• Making clean cuts around plumbing fixtures, niches, windows, and corners
• Mixing and applying thinset, grout, caulk, and sealants
• Helping with shower waterproofing and prep when needed
• Working with Schluter systems and similar waterproofing products
• Keeping jobsites clean and protecting customers’ homes
• Communicating with the project manager if you see an issue before it becomes a problem
• Completing quality work on schedule

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3+ years of professional tile installation experience preferred
• Strong experience with showers and bathroom remodeling
• Able to lay out tile properly and keep lines straight, level, and consistent
• Comfortable installing large-format tile
• Experience with niches, benches, curbs, mosaics, and shower floors
• Experience with waterproofing systems is a big plus
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must show up when you say you’re going to show up
• Must be able to work independently
• Must care about the finished product

We care more about the quality of your work and your reliability than a fancy résumé.

If something isn’t right, we expect you to say something and fix it. We take pride in our work, stand behind our jobs, and expect the same from anyone working with us.
