Lead Toddler Two Teacher

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Two Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to toddlers’ needs, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and foundational math concepts.
• Lead classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, physical development, and cognitive skills aligned with developmental standards for children.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior management techniques, and classroom organization to create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships to support each child's growth.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instruction and consistent classroom management practices.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations (including first aid and CPR certifications), and licensing requirements for early childhood education.
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, assessment strategies, including standardized testing when appropriate, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the learning experience.

Skills

• Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings, especially with toddlers in daycare environments.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood welfare standards, and behavior management techniques.
• Proven ability to develop curricula that integrate literacy education, physical education activities, and math instruction for young learners.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
• Classroom management expertise to maintain an organized environment conducive to learning and safety.
• Experience with special education needs or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
• Certification in pediatric first aid, CPR, and AED
• Familiarity with DHS regulations and mandated reporting laws is essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• CDA/Associates/Bachelors in ECE preferred
• 2 years of experience working with children

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
