Lead Tutor

We are looking for a Lead Tutor who genuinely enjoys working with children and is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences. As a Lead Tutor, you will work with children from toddler to elementary school age, leading learning activities and helping create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children to learn and grow. This role is not only about teaching. You will also become a quality reference and role model for other tutors in delivering great learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver learning sessions for children from toddler to elementary school age.
• Create a warm, safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches according to children's different ages, developmental stages, and individual needs.
• Apply appropriate learning activities that support children's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor development.
• Observe children's behavior and development and communicate relevant observations with the team.
• Work closely with other tutors and tutor assistants to ensure smooth and effective learning sessions.
• Support and guide other tutors in maintaining the quality and consistency of learning experiences.
• Help identify effective teaching practices and share them with the team.
• Participate in lesson preparation, evaluation, and improvement of learning activities.
• Communicate professionally with parents when required.

Requirements

• Experience as a teacher, kindergarten teacher, early childhood educator, or tutor.
• Experience working with children from toddler to elementary school age is highly preferred.
• Strong English proficiency, both spoken and written, with the ability to teach children confidently in English.
• Good understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning.
• Patient, warm, attentive, and able to respond appropriately to children's different personalities and needs.
• Comfortable managing and engaging young children in a classroom environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Creative and willing to explore different ways of making learning engaging.
• Able to take responsibility and become a positive example for other tutors.
• A degree or formal background in Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or a related field is a plus.
