Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong classroom leadership, developmentally appropriate teaching practices, and exceptional patience when working with toddlers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Create a warm, structured, and positive classroom environment for 7, two-year-old children
• Maintain open and professional communication with families
• Ensure compliance with all DCF licensing regulations, health, and safety standards
• Support children with routines such as meals, diapering/potty training, and nap time
• Model appropriate behavior and positive guidance techniques

Required Qualifications

• 45 DCF training hours completed (required)
• Previous experience as a Lead Teacher (required)
• Strong understanding of early childhood development, specifically toddlers
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and consistency when working with young children
• Ability to manage classroom behavior in a positive and developmentally appropriate way
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
