Leadership Development Director 2

For our client, we are seeking a Leadership Development Director 2 to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will shape enterprise leadership development strategy and translate it into programs that strengthen talent, capability, and succession across the organization. You will lead career development resources, mentorship experiences, and coaching initiatives that support employee growth at multiple levels. The position also partners closely with Talent Acquisition and other enterprise stakeholders to improve early career experiences and drive measurable business impact through data-informed program design.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,100 – $330,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the enterprise leadership development strategy and programs
• Manage the design and implementation of career development resources for employee growth
• Establish and oversee mentorship programs, including technology platforms and communications
• Define and execute the coaching strategy across the organization
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for early career experience alignment and improvements
• Utilize data and insights for continuous program enhancement and business impact
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team for effective program delivery and effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or a related field, with extensive relevant experience
• 12+ years of leadership development or similar program management experience in complex organizations
• Proven design and measurement experience in talent management programs
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and influencing senior leadership across enterprise functions
• Strong analytical skills to assess program effectiveness and guide strategic decisions
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, particularly at the executive level
