Leading Hand Carpenter

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join a well-established high-end residential builder on a large-scale luxury new build in Cronulla.

The builder specialises in complex, architecturally designed homes valued up to $40M across Sydney and has a strong pipeline of projects ahead.

You’ll work closely with an experienced Site Manager, assisting with the day-to-day running of the site while remaining hands-on when required.

The Role

• Assist the Site Manager with daily site operations
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and trades
• Manage quality, finishes and attention to detail
• Read and interpret architectural drawings
• Assist with programming and sequencing of works
• Ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard
• Hands-on carpentry where required
• Help drive the project through key stages of construction

About You

• Qualified Carpenter with strong Leading Hand experience
• Must have experience on large-scale, high-end architecturally designed residential new builds
• Strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle
• Confident managing and coordinating trades
• Excellent eye for detail and quality
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Looking to progress further into site management
