Our client is a boutique Luxury Residential construction Builder located in the Eastern suburbs and specialise in renovating and building Passive Homes in the East and Innerwest valued between $500k - $3M.

Job descriptionAn opportunity has become available for an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter who wants to be trained further to progress to a Foreman down the track. You will be working on an $800k 2nd story addition in the Innerwest, repotting directly to the owner, your duties are varied and include but are not limited to:

• Hands on carpentry and construction work - Leading by example
• Reading and interpreting plans
• Supervising the work of Trade staff and Apprentices
• Accurate Site set-outs
• Follow Program to ensure deadlines are met
• Maintaining high quality standard of work

Your Profile
To be successful you will need 1 - 3 years experience as a Leading Hand  working on hi-end renovation projects valued over $500k. You will enjoy working hands on with Projects and have a positive, can-do attitute. Having experience working with Passive homes is ideal, however, your communication skills, keenness to learn and grow, will set you apart.
