Leading Service engineer and project coordinator

About the role

Al'Cat Marketing Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Leading Service Engineer and Project Coordinator to join our team in the Macpherson Central Region. This is a full-time position that combines technical expertise with project management capabilities. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service solutions whilst coordinating projects from inception through to completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring our clients receive exceptional support and that our projects are executed on time and within specification. You will work on-site at our Macpherson location, managing both the technical and administrative aspects of service delivery and project execution.

Key responsibilities

1. To lead a team of technical personnel to support the system installed for all the clients of the company.
2. Provide technical service support to clients, diagnosing and resolving electrical and electronic equipment issues
3. Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections on client systems
4. Coordinate project timelines, resources and budgets to ensure successful project delivery
5. Liaise between clients, internal teams and external contractors to facilitate smooth project execution
6. Prepare detailed project documentation, including technical reports and progress updates
7. Install, test and commission electrical and electronic systems in accordance with specifications
8. Troubleshoot technical problems and implement effective solutions
9. Monitor project milestones and manage any deviations from planned schedules
10. Maintain accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities and project outcomes
11. Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards throughout all service and project work

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field
2. Proven experience as a service engineer or field technician in the electrical or electronics sector
3. Demonstrated project coordination experience, ideally in an engineering environment
4. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry and electronic components
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Proficiency in using project management tools and software
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
9. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required
10. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations
11. Preferred: experience with preventative maintenance programmes and customer relationship management
