Lead/Sr. Interior Designer

The Senior Interior Designer / Design Manager is responsible for leading the interior design process from concept through execution, ensuring design intent, quality, timelines, and client expectations are met. The role involves managing the design team, coordinating with consultants and site teams, and ensuring smooth transition from design to construction.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership & Delivery

• Lead design development for luxury villas, high-end residences, and fit-out projects.
• Prepare and review concept designs, layouts, material selections, and detailed drawings.
• Ensure designs are aligned with client brief, budget, and project timelines.
• Maintain design quality and consistency across all project stages.

Team & Coordination

• Manage and guide interior designers and junior team members.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, QS, procurement, and site teams.
• Support technical meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities when required.
• Ensure smooth handover of design packages to execution teams.

Technical & Execution Support

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and samples.
• Resolve design clarifications and site-related design issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
• Ensure timely release of IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and approvals.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Present design proposals and updates to clients.
• Incorporate client feedback while maintaining design intent and feasibility.
• Support value engineering where required without compromising design quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 8–12 years of experience in interior design, with strong exposure to luxury villas and high-end projects.
• Proven experience in leading design teams and managing multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, detailing, and construction coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
