• Diagnosing the source of leaks using non-invasive techniques
• Producing clear and detailed reports, including findings, photographs and recommendations
• Communicating confidently with customers and other stakeholders on site
• Liaising with insurers, claims handlers and property managers where required
• Managing your own workload and appointments effectively
• Maintaining and caring for company vehicles, tools and specialist equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant health and safety requirements

What we're looking for

You’ll ideally have previous experience in leak detection, although candidates with a strong background in plumbing, heating or building diagnostics may also be considered.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience in leak detection or a relevant technical trade
• A good understanding of plumbing, heating systems and water supply networks
• Experience using specialist leak detection equipment
• Thermography – Level 1 minimum
• Good knowledge of building construction
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good IT skills, including the ability to complete reports and use job management/workflow systems
• The ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels
• Ideally, Gas Safe registration
• A full clean UK driving licence

An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, or a relevant trade qualification, would be advantageous. Industry-specific leak detection training or certifications are also welcomed.

What’s on offer?

• Competitive salary, depending on experience
• Company vehicle provided
• Company tools and specialist equipment provided
• Ongoing training and development
• A stable workload with a supportive team
