Leak detection Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Leak Detection Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving leaks within various piping and plumbing systems across commercial and industrial sites. Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of pipelines, tanks, and plumbing systems to detect leaks using specialized tools and techniques
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and leak detection equipment to locate sources of leaks accurately
• Perform repairs on piping systems, including welding, plumbing, or assembly tasks as needed to restore system integrity
• Assist with system maintenance by replacing faulty components and ensuring proper installation using carpentry and mechanical skills
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large parts or materials during repair or installation processes
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and leak reports for compliance and future reference
• Support team efforts in troubleshooting complex issues by applying basic math and mechanical knowledge

Requirements

• Proven experience with welding, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical repair work in industrial or commercial settings
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized leak detection equipment effectively
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined or challenging environments safely
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for site access or transportation needs
• Experience with assembly work and the use of various hand and power tools required for repairs
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy machinery, welding, plumbing, and general maintenance practices
