Lean Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and others) to execute Lean projects and improvement activities.

·       Provide training, coaching, and on-the-job support to employees on Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, VSM, waste reduction).

·       Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and support implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

·       Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process changes, and production line setup to ensure efficient workflow and standardization.

·       Perform time study, cycle time measurement, and line balancing to optimize production flow and reduce inefficiencies.

·       Execute technical assignments and improvement tasks as instructed by the Lean Manufacturing Manager.

·       Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety performance.

·       Perform other duties as assigned by Lean Manufacturing Manager.

PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineer or related field.

·       Minimum 3 years’ experience pf experience in a manufacturing environment.

·       trong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools.

·       Experience leading process improvement projects.

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

·       He/She need strong experience in time studies (Cycle Time Taking) and line balancing, obviously with other Lean Tools and methodologies.

·       Experience in setting production targets is an additional advantage.

·       Certified in Lean, Six Sigma green belt or similar preferred.

·       Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams.

·       Project management experience is a plus.

·       Good computer skills (MS. Office, MRP etc.)

·       English spoken, read, written, able to report in English.
