Lean Engineer

About the role

The purpose of this function is to lead/support Lean and Six Sigma projects assigned by Lean and Six Sigma Manager in order to promote continuous improvement approach and mentality in the organization. The figure will be responsible to define together with related teams Lean and Six Sigma projects and drive them to the successful accomplishment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and execute Lean, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement projects in production and collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Lead 5S Gemba activities, including standard development, training, audit scheduling, execution, and follow-up
• Track and report project progress, results, and improvement benefits
• Support production and related functions in problem solving and process improvement
• Strictly comply with Company's management systems and regulations
• Request for changes in products or processes
• Request for corrective and preventive action in production

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields
• 1-3 years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing or functions related to Continuous Improvement
• Good knowledge of Lean concepts, Kaizen, and Six Sigma; Green Belt certification is a plus
• Good data analysis, problem-solving, and Lean techniques
• Knowledge of Time Study, Line Balancing, OEE, Cycle Time, and Takt Time is an advantage
• Good analytical, project management, communication, and result-oriented skills
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of statistical tools and data analysis, such as Minitab, is preferred but not essential
• Team player with a good attitude and logical thinking
• Self-motivated and willing to work hands-on with shopfloor teams
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
