Learning and Career Success Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Learning and Career Success Specialist to support employee growth,

professional development, career planning, training, and learning and development

initiatives within the organization.

The Learning and Career Success Specialist will work closely with employees to

understand their long-term career goals, professional aspirations, skills, strengths, and

development needs. This role will help employees create personalized career development

plans and identify the training, certifications, courses, mentoring opportunities, and

practical experiences needed to progress toward their desired career path.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one career development and career coaching sessions with employees to understand their professional goals, interests, strengths, and long-term career aspirations.
• Provide active coaching, guidance, and accountability throughout the employee's career development journey.
• Develop recommended learning and training paths based on an employee's target career (specific training programs, certifications, courses, workshops, mentoring opportunities, and practical assignments)
• Design, facilitate, and deliver training programs focused on technical skills, professional development, soft skills, leadership, communication, career development, and workplace competencies based on identified employee development needs and organizational requirements.
• Conduct onboarding, upskilling, reskilling, refresher training, cross-training, and continuing professional development programs.
• Design, develop, and maintain engaging and practical training materials and learning resources.
• Work with managers to identify potential development opportunities, stretch assignments, cross-training, job shadowing, and mentorship programs.
• Assess and measure the impact and effectiveness of training and development program.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, or a related field.
• Professional experience developing training programs, learning curricula, training manuals, SOPs, e-learning modules, instructional materials, or employee development resources.
• 2-4 years of experience with instructional design, learning management systems (LMS), or e-learning platforms.
• 2–4 years of experience in career development, employee development, learning and development (L&D), training and development, talent management, HR, career coaching, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong research skills for identifying professional certifications, courses, and learning resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, presentation software (Canva etc), and documentation tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
• Amenable to work in Tayabas, Quezon Province
