What they need

Transform your Employee Relations expertise into actionable learning solutions, shaping client success and organisational culture in an inspiring, growth-focused team Why join us WorkNest’s 800+ colleagues support over 50,000 organisations worldwide, helping them manage risk, improve performance, and protect what matters most. Combining smart technology with expert advice across Employment Law, HR, Health & Safety, Cyber Security, ISO, and Compliance, we act as a true extension of our clients' teams.

As part of Axiom GRC, WorkNest has experienced significant growth through international expansion and strategic acquisitions, with ambitious plans to become a £250 million business through continued innovation and sustainable growth.

As we evolve, we are investing in our Learning & Development team to strengthen our reputation as the go-to partner for legally informed, business-focused people development. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our learning offering.

What We Offer

  • Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
  • Amazing benefits
  • Hybrid working, with a rough split of 60% on client sites and 40% home based
  • A supportive, collaborative culture where your expertise directly shapes client outcomes and organisational impact

What We’re Looking For We’re excited to be recruiting an L&D Consultant to join us during an ambitious period of growth, helping build our reputation as the go-to partner for legally-informed, commercially focused L&D solutions. Your focus will be to design and deliver high-impact learning and development across a number of topics including (but not limited to) investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and difficult conversations.

You’ll build genuine consultancy partnerships with clients through insightful needs analysis, grounding every intervention in real employment law and HR practice. Working with a diverse client base from SMEs to large enterprises, you’ll help strengthen management capability and organisational culture, all within a collaborative, expert-led team.

About You You’ll be a natural communicator with genuine experience and enthusiasm for delivering training, coaching or presenting to groups. This is essential.

Alongside this, you’ll bring solid Employee Relations knowledge - investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, capability, TUPE and redundancy. You’ll be ready to step back from the intensity of reactive casework and move into a proactive, consultative career.

You’ll flex your delivery style for different audiences, create interactive, scenario-based learning, and deliver confidently in person and virtually, all within our amazing, collaborative culture where knowledge is shared and ideas are valued.

You’ll hold at least one relevant qualification – such as CIPD L5, qualified solicitor status with training delivery experience, or substantial senior ER practitioner experience (10+ years) with demonstrable training capability. A mediation qualification would be a strong advantage, though isn’t essential.

Up for the challenge? If you share our values of Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork and Inclusion, please use the ‘apply now’ button to send us your CV and covering letter outlining how you meet the role criteria.

WorkNest is committed to creating a culture of Inclusion and ensuring that everyone – job applicants, clients, colleagues, and anyone else we deal with – is treated fairly and with respect. Closing date : 06 September 2026 . Please note: Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. We may look to close the advert early, so please don't delay in submitting an application. WorkNest is part of Axiom GRC, supporting organisations to look after their people and protect what matters most.

We combine expertise in people management, employment law, health and safety, and cyber resilience with smart technology and practical support to help organisations manage risk, maintain compliance, and perform at their best.
