The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists to join our high performing national Learning & Development team as a Learning & Development Coordinator on a 12 month parental leave contract.

Reporting to a Learning and Development Manager and working as part of the Learning Helpdesk, you will work closely with the Learning & Development team to support the coordination, administration and continuous improvement of learning initiatives across the firm. You’ll join a national team of learning specialists who are highly collaborative, inclusive and value flexibility.

The position is being offered on a full-time basis in our Melbourne office.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal learning queries, providing responsive and high-quality support to partners and staff.
  • Coordinating and supporting professional development programs, new employee orientation and other learning initiatives.
  • Administering training and learning activities through the UniversitySite Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Supporting L&D reporting requirements (eg CPD, compliance and KPI reporting), including analysing data and preparing reports to support decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Managing Learning Helpdesk operations, including registrations, attendance records, learning materials, room bookings, catering, evaluations and training recordings.
  • Maintaining L&D systems and resources, including learning records, intranet content, team resources and invoice processing.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of L&D processes, systems and learning experiences.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a national team of learning specialists who are highly collaborative, inclusive and value flexibility.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar coordinator or administrator role, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Strong Excel and reporting capability, with the ability to manage data, produce reports and identify trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • A collaborative and client-focused mindset, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide responsive support to stakeholders.
  • Confidence working with systems and technology, including experience with (or a willingness to learn) the LMS.
  • Alignment with our values - Excellence, Collaboration, Commitment and Respect.
