Learning and Development Manager

Must-Have Qualifications

Experience

• 7–10+ years in Learning & Development or Organizational Development.
• Proven track record in competency framework design, career development programs, and skills gap assessments .
• Experience in professional services or audit/advisory firms is a strong advantage.

Technical Knowledge

• Familiarity with audit quality standards (ISQM 1, ISA/PSA), PFRS/IFRS , and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of LMS platforms and HRIS integration .
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret assessment results and create dashboards.

Project Management Skills

• Ability to manage multi-phase projects with strict timelines.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and governance reporting.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong change management and influence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

A. Competency Framework

• Develop role-based competency architecture (technical, behavioral, leadership).
• Define proficiency levels (P1–P5) and validate with service lines.
• Map competencies.

B. Career Development Program

• Design career pathways, promotion criteria, and lateral options.
• Build curriculum (core, role-based, leadership tracks).

C. Skills Gap Assessment

• Select and implement assessment tools (self, manager, technical tests).
• Oversee execution, calibration, and QA checks.
• Analyze results and produce heatmaps and scorecards.

D. IDP Implementation

• Provide templates, train managers, and support adoption.
• Monitor progress and report to Working Group.

E. Governance & Reporting

• Maintain project cadence (weekly huddles, monthly updates).
• Track KPIs: completion rates, proficiency lift, and QA improvement.
