Learning And Development Officer- Retail

Are you passionate about helping people grow and reach their full potential? We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Learning & Development Officer to join our Human Resources team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, facilitating, and evaluating learning programs that build employee capability, enhance performance, and support career development. You will work closely with leaders across the organization to create engaging learning experiences and foster a culture of continuous improvement and growth

What You'll Do

• Design and develop training programs that address business needs and employee skill gaps
• Facilitate engaging classroom, virtual, and blended learning sessions
• Support employee onboarding programs and ensure a positive learning experience for new hires
• Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and create customized learning solutions
• Measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
• Maintain and improve training materials, resources, and learning records
• Drive participation and engagement in learning initiatives across the organization
• Support continuous improvement by introducing innovative learning methods and tools

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Human Resources
• Experience facilitating onboarding, training programs, and employee engagement activities
• Experience in retail, FMCG, or service industries is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• High adaptability, initiative, and customer-service orientation
• Passion for developing people and building a learning culture
