About the role

In this Learning & Development Specialist role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the learning and development strategies that empower our employees to excel. As a key member of our Human Resources & Recruitment team, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Designing and delivering comprehensive training programmes to upskill our employees across various departments
2. Collaborating with business leaders to identify training needs and develop tailored learning solutions
3. Facilitating engaging and impactful training sessions, workshops and on-the-job learning opportunities
4. Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes and continuously improving them based on feedback
5. Maintaining training records and reporting on the progress and impact of learning initiatives
6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Learning & Development

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field
2. At least 3 years of experience in a training or learning and development role, preferably in the retail or services industry
3. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess training needs and measure the impact of learning initiatives
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
6. Up-to-date knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and the latest trends in corporate training
