L&D Coordinator - VIC

Combine training delivery, coaching and learning coordination in a dynamic hybrid role supporting operational teams across Victoria and Tasmania. Travel, variety and genuine career growth await.

  • Own learning across 20+ locations throughout Victoria and Tasmania.
  • Hands-on mix of facilitation, coaching, onboarding and learning coordination.
  • Perfect next step for an L&D Coordinator or HR professional passionate about developing people

If you're someone who loves helping people grow, enjoys facilitating engaging training sessions and also appreciates the structure behind delivering great learning experiences, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

We're searching for a passionate Learning & Development Coordinator to support a well-known national organisation across Victoria and Tasmania. This is a true hybrid role where you'll spend time delivering practical, face-to-face training while also coordinating the programs, reporting and learning systems that keep the business moving.

You'll work closely with operational leaders, identifying opportunities to improve capability, enhance customer experience and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Why you'll love this role

  • Deliver training that genuinely makes a difference across 20+ operational locations throughout Victoria and Tasmania.
  • Own your training calendar while partnering with leaders to identify learning opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Enjoy variety every week with facilitation, coaching, onboarding, program development, reporting and travel throughout the network.

The Opportunity

Every week brings a different challenge, new people to support and fresh opportunities to make an impact.

One day you'll be onboarding new employees, facilitating customer experience workshops or coaching frontline teams. The next you'll be analysing learning trends, developing new content, maintaining the virtual training calendar or working alongside Operations Managers to improve performance across the network.

You'll become a trusted partner to operational leaders, helping identify capability gaps and creating practical learning solutions that improve customer experience, operational performance and employee confidence.

Travel throughout Victoria is part of the role, with visits to Tasmania approximately once each quarter.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver engaging onboarding programs for new operational employees.
  • Facilitate workshops covering customer experience, sales, systems, processes and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate learning activities across Victoria and Tasmania.
  • Develop, review and improve training materials, online learning content and facilitator resources.
  • Analyse business trends to identify capability gaps and learning opportunities.
  • Coach employees and provide practical on-the-job development.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain learning records, reporting, attendance tracking and virtual training schedules.
  • Partner closely with HR, Operations and leadership teams to support business objectives.
  • Assist with learning technology, policy updates and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You may currently be working in Learning & Development and looking for your next career step or perhaps you've built your career within Human Resources and have gained exposure to learning, facilitation and capability development.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy working with people, be naturally organised and have the confidence to stand in front of a room and facilitate engaging training sessions.

You will bring:

  • Prior experience within the tourism, hospitality, travel, accommodation or similar customer-facing multi-site service environment where developing frontline teams is central to business success.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience within Learning & Development or HR with L&D exposure.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, presentations or group training.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Confidence managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (360Learning, Workday Learning or similar) is highly regarded.

Experience within hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail or other fast-paced customer service environments will be highly regarded.
