Our client is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that build employee skills and support workforce development across our national operations.

As a Learning & Development Specialist, your mission is to design and deliver highly visual, radically simple, and bilingual training programs for a mobile, deskless workforce. You will take technical safety procedures, equipment operation manuals, and customer service standards, and turn them into engaging, easily digestible learning experiences. If you love getting out into the field, teaching practical skills, and empowering frontline workers to grow into supervisors, this role is for you.

What our customers need help with:

• Design and develop training curricula, materials, and programs for employees at all levels.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, including onboarding and safety training.
• Partner with operations leaders to identify skill gaps and training needs.
• Maintain and administer the company's learning management system ( LMS ).
• Track training completion, certifications, and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
• Support leadership development and career-pathing initiatives.
• Stay current on adult-learning best practices and industry training trends.
• Collaborate with HR and safety teams on compliance-related training.
• Support other L&D initiatives as assigned.
• Build training toolkits and coach Area Operations Managers and Site Supervisors on how to effectively onboard and evaluate new hires during their first two weeks on the job.

What stands out amongst top talent:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in training , learning & development, or instructional design.
• Experience with LMS platforms .
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites as needed.
• Strong project-management skills.
• Experience training a distributed, hourly, or blue-collar workforce (e.g., facility services, hospitality, manufacturing, warehousing, or retail) is highly preferred.
