Learning & Development Specialist - English Program

About the Role

We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist – English Program to join our Human Capital team and play a key role in developing our people through impactful English learning and development programs.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end English learning cycle, from identifying learning needs and designing training programs to delivering engaging sessions, assessing learning outcomes, and evaluating training effectiveness.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand employees' communication and development needs and translate them into relevant and practical English learning solutions. This includes developing lesson plans, learning materials, training activities, assessments, and other learning resources tailored to different learner profiles and levels of proficiency.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in learning methodologies, pedagogy, and andragogy, with the ability to apply appropriate learning approaches for adult learners in a corporate environment. You should be comfortable facilitating both classroom and interactive learning sessions and creating an engaging learning experience for employees from diverse backgrounds.

Beyond English training, you will also contribute to broader Learning & Development and Human Capital initiatives, including employee development programs, learning projects, engagement activities, and other initiatives that support organizational capability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis to identify employees' English learning needs and development priorities.
• Design and deliver engaging English training programs for employees with different proficiency levels and learning needs.
• Develop structured lesson plans, training modules, learning materials, activities, and assessments.
• Apply appropriate pedagogy, andragogy, and adult learning principles in designing and delivering learning programs.
• Facilitate interactive and practical learning sessions that improve employees' English communication skills, including speaking, listening, writing, and workplace communication.
• Assess learners' progress and evaluate training effectiveness and learning outcomes.
• Conduct post-training evaluation and use feedback and learning data to continuously improve training programs.
• Maintain accurate training records, learning documentation, materials, and reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure learning programs are aligned with business and organizational needs.
• Support other Learning & Development, employee development, and Human Capital initiatives as required.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in English Education, English Literature, Human Resources Management, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Proven experience in English training, corporate training, learning & development, or educational programs.
• Strong command of spoken and written English, with excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of pedagogy, andragogy, adult learning, and learning methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in developing lesson plans, learning materials, assessments, and training programs.
• Experience in managing or contributing to the end-to-end learning cycle, from training needs analysis through post-training evaluation.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with learners from diverse backgrounds and levels of proficiency.
• Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, self-driven, and committed to delivering a positive learning experience.
• Candidates with experience in corporate L&D, hospitality training, employee development, or organizational learning will be highly valued.
