Learning and Teaching Development Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in reviewing lesson plans, evaluating student assessments, and overseeing classroom learning and teaching quality

• Managing all teaching assistant, provide guidance and day-to-day support to them at the Centre

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student and teacher performance, attendance and punctuality

• Provide input for teaching assistant and new teaching staff performance reviews, (if applicable)

• Develop Mathematics questions and supervise the work of other Mathematics editors

• Attend curriculum meetings and contribute ideas to curriculum planning and improvement

• Work closely with teachers and the Management Team to encourage clear communication, build a positive and enjoyable learning environment, and assist in handling conflicts or challenging situations when needed

• Assist with the induction and onboarding of newly recruited teaching staff

• Support teachers in responding to parents’ requests, concerns and enquiries

• Assist the Centre in ordering, allocating and organizing teaching resources

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in teaching, editing or a related education field
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Strong ability to coordinate tasks and manage priorities effectively
• Able to support and promote a positive learning and teaching environment
• Excellent command of English and Chinese
• Passionate about education, with strong attention to detail
• Well-organized with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good IT knowledge would be an advantage
