Learning Coach & Academic Support – University-Level Student

Illumina Learning Management and Support is seeking a dedicated Business Learning Coach to provide one-on-one academic and organizational support to a university-level Business student. This is a hands-on, relationship-based role for someone who enjoys helping students build the skills and habits they need to succeed independently.

About the Role

You will work closely with a university student to strengthen their study habits, time management, and academic performance. This is broad, "all-around" support rather than subject support alone — you'll help the student stay on top of coursework, break down assignments, and build sustainable organizational systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regular one-on-one coaching sessions focused on study skills, time management, and organization
• Help plan, structure, and work through assignments and projects from start to finish
• Support with prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and building a workable study schedule
• Assist with note-taking, reading comprehension, and exam preparation strategies
• Monitor academic progress and adjust coaching strategies to the student's needs
• Communicate regularly with the family/coordinator on progress and any concerns
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-directed learning habits

What We're Looking For

• Business background with experience in educating, coaching, or academic mentoring, ideally at the university/college level
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to model and teach these to others
• Patient, supportive, and encouraging communication style
• Bachelor's degree required (Business, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred)
• Reliable, professional, and committed to consistent scheduling
• Prior experience with executive-function or organizational coaching is a plus

Pay: AED140.00 - AED150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 4.0 per week
