Pay Range: $45.71 per hour

Job Description:

Position Summary

We are seeking a Learning Content Developer to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of learning content for dealer, customer, and employee audiences. This role works closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to transform approved learning strategies, outlines, storyboards, and content specifications into engaging, high-quality learning experiences.

The Learning Content Developer is primarily responsible for the development, production coordination, implementation, publication, and maintenance of learning assets and learning paths. The role supports multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring content accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and alignment with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Content Development

• Develop learning assets from approved instructional designs, outlines, storyboards, and content requirements.
• Create engaging learning materials including:
• eLearning modules
• Instructor-led training materials
• Facilitator guides
• Participant workbooks and resources
• Job aids
• Assessments and knowledge checks
• Translate complex technical and business information into clear, learner-friendly content for diverse audiences.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with subject matter experts to gather source materials, validate content accuracy, and address knowledge gaps.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews, feedback cycles, approvals, and content revisions.
• Facilitate communication across project teams to ensure timely delivery of learning solutions.

Learning Platform Administration

• Build, upload, configure, test, publish, and maintain learning content within enterprise learning management systems (LMS) and learning experience platforms.
• Organize and manage learning paths, curricula, and related training resources.
• Support content deployment, launch activities, and post-launch updates.

Project Coordination & Quality Assurance

• Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and outstanding actions.
• Manage source files, templates, version control, release documentation, and approval records.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure functionality, accessibility, formatting, technical accuracy, and overall learner experience.
• Coordinate translation, localization, multimedia production, and content maintenance activities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Education, Communications, Technical Writing, Project Management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing and implementing learning content from approved designs, outlines, or storyboards through final publication.
• Proven ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and manage stakeholder reviews, approvals, and project deadlines.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, organizational, and content production skills.
• Experience working with learning management systems (LMS), content management systems (CMS), or digital authoring tools.
• Ability to translate complex technical content into clear, engaging learning resources.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within established learning strategies and design frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating technical, product, customer, dealer, or employee training materials for distributed or field-based organizations.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and the ADDIE instructional design framework, particularly the Development and Implementation phases.
• Graphic design and visual communication experience, including the creation of brand-aligned learning materials using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools.
• Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 , Rise , Storyline , or Adobe Captivate .
• Experience supporting accessibility standards, translation and localization efforts, multimedia production, learning operations, and technical communications.
• Experience developing both web-based and instructor-led learning programs.
