Learning Development Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement learning and development programs for retail and head office employees, with a primary focus on Fashion Retail and Store Operations .
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify capability gaps across store operations, sales, customer service, product knowledge, leadership, and other key competencies.
• Work closely with Store Operations, Retail Management, HRBP, and Brand teams to ensure learning programs are aligned with business requirements.
• Develop learning materials, training modules, facilitator guides, assessments, and other learning tools.Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using appropriate learning and business performance indicators.
• Analyze training results and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Establish learning standards and ensure consistent implementation of training programs across stores.
• Conduct regular store visits to observe operational practices and identify learning and capability gaps.
• Translate operational challenges and business requirements into practical and measurable learning solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business Management, Retail Management, Human Resources, Education, Communication , or a related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, Retail Training, Store Operations, or a related function.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Fashion Retail industry is required.
• Strong understanding of retail store operations , including sales processes, customer experience, store SOP, merchandising, inventory, and store performance.
• Previous experience working with fashion retail brands or multi-store retail operations is highly preferred.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs for retail/store employees.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, proactive, adaptable, and business-oriented.
• Willingness to conduct regular store visits and work closely with operational teams.
