Learning Experience (Curriculum) Designer

We are looking for a designer to create engaging and visually effective learning materials for adult learners across WSQ and non-WSQ programmes.

The role focuses on transforming curriculum content into well-designed slides, learner materials and other training resources that are clear, engaging and aligned with SDA’s corporate identity.

Responsibilities

• Design creative and professional presentation slides for classroom training.
• Translate curriculum content into visually engaging learning materials without compromising accuracy or learning intent.
• Apply strong visual hierarchy, layout, typography, spacing and information design to improve clarity and learner understanding.
• Develop graphics, diagrams, infographics and other visual elements to support learning concepts.
• Work closely with Curriculum Developers to determine the most effective way to present content visually.
• Ensure all learning materials follow a consistent corporate identity, visual style and branding standard.
• Improve and refresh existing training materials to make them more engaging, modern and learner-friendly.
• Use AI and design tools to support ideation, visual creation and content development.
• Manage multiple design projects and ensure materials are completed within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Strong design sense and understanding of visual hierarchy.
• Able to create polished, creative and professional presentation slides.
• Proficient in Google Slides.
• Good understanding of typography, layout, composition and information design.
• Able to simplify complex information and present it in a clear and visually intuitive manner.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large sets of learning materials.
• Able to work within established brand and corporate identity guidelines while still producing creative designs.
• Good working knowledge of generative AI and AI-powered design tools.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with Curriculum Developers and Subject Matter Experts.
• Experience designing learning materials, training decks, educational content or corporate presentations is an advantage.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools is an advantage.
