Learning Teaching Assistant

We seek to appoint a competent and enthusiastic Learning Teaching Assistant.

We require a Teaching Assistant who can share their passion and go the extra mile for the students in their charge, and an ability to maintain an orderly, collaborative learning environment for our students.

This is a temporary position commencing January 2027.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the Educational and Social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the management and class teacher
2. Assist in implementing Individual Education Programmes for students and help monitor their progress. Support with SEN students.
3. Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to participate in activities fully. Follow-up IEPs.
4. Assist class teacher with learning activities and group work as requested. Move from group to group to support learning.
5. Accompany students as they move around the school building to specialist areas, school nurses, buses, specialist lessons etc.
6. Support specialist teachers as required.

Job Requirements:

1. The candidate must possess at least a Degree in Education, or a relevant field preferred.
2. Excellent verbal and written English skills.
3. The candidate must have a solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices.
4. Passion for teaching and interacting with the students.
5. Relevant teaching experience in an international school setting would be advantageous.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Creative and willing to accept new ideas and concepts in teaching and education.
8. Possess good planning, organizing, coordinating, presentation, and time management skills.
