Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective tenants in both Spanish and English to provide detailed information about available properties, lease terms, and community amenities.
• Conduct property tours, highlighting features and answering questions confidently to promote leasing opportunities.
• Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
• Verify applicant qualifications by reviewing legal documentation, credit reports, income statements, and landlord references, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and facilities management to address property upkeep issues promptly.
• Maintain organized records of client interactions, lease agreements, and legal documents through data entry and filing systems.
• Assist with tenant onboarding, lease renewals, rent collection, and resolving conflicts professionally to foster positive relationships.

Skills

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of property management tools including Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS systems.
• Experience with lease or rental agreement management and understanding of landlord-tenant law.
• Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Fair Housing regulations.
• Customer service expertise with a focus on client communication, conflict management, and upselling rental units.
• Ability to manage contracts effectively while demonstrating negotiation skills to maximize occupancy rates.
• Office experience including data entry, filing, Microsoft Office suite proficiency, and phone etiquette.
• Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices.
• Experience working within property management companies or real estate administrative roles is highly desirable.
• Strong team management capabilities combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client satisfaction.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
