Buena Vista Apartments is actively seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to join our growing team. We are a small, family-owned property management company that believes in teamwork, exceptional customer service, and creating communities our residents are proud to call home.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay Range: $18 - $21 per hour (Depending on Experience)
• Rent discount available for qualified employees who choose to live on-site (utilities and other monthly associated fees are the responsibility of the employee/resident).

Key Responsibilities

• Lease apartment homes and actively work to achieve occupancy goals.
• Follow up with prospective resident leads in a timely and professional manner.
• Greet every resident and prospect warmly and professionally upon entering the office.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resident relations.
• Assist management with daily office and administrative tasks.
• Execute lease contracts, renewals, and all move-in documentation.
• Handle resident questions, concerns, and customer service requests.
• Maintain professionalism while representing the property and management company.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment leasing experience is REQUIRED. (No exceptions.)
• Proven ability to lease apartments and close sales.
• Positive, uplifting, and professional attitude.
• Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, OneSite, AppFolio, or similar platforms.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, and Teams.
