Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Leasing Agent to join our dynamic property management team! In this role, you will be the friendly face and expert guide for prospective tenants, helping them find their ideal home while ensuring a smooth leasing process.

you will be filling vacancies in the following cities mix between apartment complexes and single family homes:

• Pontiac
• Warren
• Eastpointe
• Roseville
• Mount Clemens
• Richmond
• Chesterfield
• Clinton township
• Lake orion

Duties

• Greet prospective tenants promptly and professionally, providing comprehensive property tours and answering all questions with enthusiasm
• Oversee unit turns all leasing across the whole portfolio
• Promote available units through creative marketing strategies, including digital listings and community outreach efforts
• Negotiate lease terms and rental agreements that meet both tenant needs and property policies
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and local real estate laws during all leasing activities
• Process applications accurately, verify tenant credentials, and conduct background checks in accordance with company standards
• Maintain organized records of leasing activities, tenant communications, and administrative documentation
• Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate move-ins, lease renewals, and occupancy updates

• Post on zillow and fb marketplace to get leads and fill vacancies fast
• oversee unit remodels to make rent ready
• Strong negotiation abilities to secure favorable lease agreements while maintaining positive relationships
• Excellent marketing skills to effectively promote properties across multiple channels
• Outstanding customer service skills to create welcoming experiences for prospective tenants
• Knowledge of sales techniques to convert inquiries into signed leases efficiently
• Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations, real estate law, and property management best practices
• Exceptional communication skills for clear, professional interactions with tenants, vendors, and team members
• Organizational skills to manage multiple leasing processes simultaneously with accuracy
• Previous real estate administrative experience is highly desirable to streamline operations
