Leasing Agent

Our Kansas City real estate team works with property owners and investors on leasing decisions, and we’re looking for a Leasing Agent who enjoys the people side of that work. You’ll be a point of contact for prospective tenants, help them understand available spaces, arrange viewings, and keep conversations moving from an initial inquiry to the next step.

Your day in leasing

• Respond to property inquiries by phone and email.
• Learn what prospective tenants need, including location, space, budget, and timing.
• Share accurate information about available properties and arrange viewings.
• Prepare for appointments and help visitors feel welcome and informed.
• Follow up after viewings and keep prospective tenants updated on next steps.
• Maintain inquiry records, appointment details, and leasing activity in the team’s systems.
• Gather application information and pass documentation to the appropriate colleague for review.
• Work with senior team members to keep property owners and clients informed about interest in their spaces.

The person we’d like to meet

You communicate clearly, enjoy meeting new people, and can keep track of several conversations without letting a follow-up slip. You’re comfortable asking questions, learning about different properties, and representing a professional real estate team.

This is an opportunity to build practical experience in real estate while working alongside colleagues who handle client relationships and property strategy. You’ll receive guidance on the team’s leasing process and take ownership of the details that make a good impression: prompt replies, accurate information, organized appointments, and dependable follow-up.
