What they need

Piroli Group Developments is looking to hire a Leasing Agent to join our growing leasing team and help prospective residents find the right place to call home.

As a Leasing Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for many of our prospective residents. You’ll connect with people by phone, email and in person, learn what they’re looking for, showcase our properties and guide them through the entire leasing process—from their first inquiry to signing their lease.

Our communities are primarily home to empty nesters, retirees and adults 55+, along with young professionals and graduate students. The ability to connect with different people, understand their needs, and build genuine relationships is at the heart of this role. This is a sales-focused position, but it's not about high-pressure selling. It’s about asking the right questions, understanding what matters to each prospect, confidently communicating the value of our communities, overcoming objections, and helping people feel confident in their decision.

The Leasing Agent would report to the following superiors: President, General Manager, and the Sales and Marketing Manager. The Leasing agent would also work alongside the other employees within the Sales/Marketing and Property Management Departments. The Leasing Agent must be able to take calls, texts, and emails form superiors at all times, and must check back in if unavailable. Weekly pay is negotiable. 3 month probationary period, with benefits and pension plan possible after first 3 months of employment, employment review after 6 months of employment and then annually.

What You'll Do (Includes, and is not limited to) :

Respond to prospective resident inquiries by phone, email and other channels

Build relationships with prospects and understand their housing needs, preferences and priorities

Conduct engaging and professional tours of our properties and available suites

Present the features, amenities and benefits of our communities

Follow up consistently with prospective residents throughout the leasing process

Identify and overcome objections and confidently move prospects toward a leasing decision

Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through application and lease signing

Ensure applications, documentation and leasing information are complete and accurate

Maintain organized and up-to-date records using our leasing and customer management systems

Work collaboratively with the leasing team to achieve occupancy and leasing goals across all properties

Communicate with property management and other internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to resident

Represent our company and communities professionally at open houses, events and other promotional activities

Travel between our properties in Chatham, Leamington, Amherstburg and Windsor as required

Occasionally work evenings and weekends for tours, open houses, and events, which are paid or given time in lieu.

Other administrative, leasing, and property management duties as assigned by management
