Leasing Agent

We are a growing real estate investment and property management company seeking a motivated, professional, and results-driven Leasing Agent to help lease residential rental properties throughout London, Ontario.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently. You will be responsible for managing rental inquiries, conducting property showings, screening prospective tenants, and helping secure qualified tenants for our growing portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in residential leasing, property management, real estate, or sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to rental inquiries through phone, email, and online platforms.
• Schedule and conduct property showings with prospective tenants.
• Advertise available rental units on Facebook Marketplace, Rentals.ca, Kijiji, and other rental platforms.
• Follow up with prospective tenants to maximize leasing conversions.
• Collect rental applications and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate tenant screening, including credit, employment, income, and reference checks.
• Assist with lease preparation, signing, and move-in coordination.
• Maintain accurate records of inquiries, showings, applications, and leasing activity.
• Work closely with property management to minimize vacancies and ensure a positive leasing experience.
• Provide regular updates on leasing progress and market feedback.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential leasing, property management, real estate, or sales preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable, and well-organized.
• Comfortable conducting showings independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with the London rental market is an asset.
• Knowledge of Ontario's Residential Tenancies Act and applicable rental regulations is an asset.
• Comfortable using online rental platforms and basic property management software.
