Assistant to the Leasing Director

Eidi Family Properties is a private, family-owned real estate investment firm with commercial assets across seven states. We are seeking an experienced commercial real estate professional to work alongside our Leasing Director in expanding tenant relationships, leasing existing retail space, and pursuing commercial development opportunities.

This is a hands-on transaction role with exposure to ownership, leasing strategy, acquisitions, dispositions, and development. The successful candidate will bring initiative, sound judgment, strong follow-through, and the ability to move opportunities from initial outreach through negotiation, documentation, and closing.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Leasing Director in identifying and securing tenants for existing retail vacancies, redevelopment projects, outparcels, and new commercial development opportunities.

Develop and maintain relationships with national and regional tenants, tenant representatives, brokers, developers, and other industry contacts.

Conduct tenant outreach, respond to inquiries, arrange property tours, and maintain consistent follow-up with prospective tenants and brokers.

Research markets, competing properties, rental rates, demographics, tenant expansion plans, and potential development opportunities.

Evaluate prospective tenants, proposed uses, and transaction economics in coordination with the Leasing Director and ownership.

Prepare proposals, draft and negotiate letters of intent, and assist with lease drafting and revisions using company forms and in coordination with legal counsel.

Support new leases, renewals, extensions, expansions, assignments, and other leasing transactions from initial discussion through execution.

Assist with acquisition and disposition underwriting, including review of rent rolls, leases, operating statements, comparable properties, and financial projections.

Support due diligence and transaction coordination, track deadlines and outstanding items, and help advance acquisitions and dispositions through closing.

Coordinate with accounting, property management, construction teams, legal counsel, lenders, title companies, and outside brokers as needed.

Maintain accurate prospect records, transaction files, leasing reports, and deal-status updates.

Travel as needed for property visits, tenant meetings, market research, and industry events across the company’s seven-state portfolio.
