Leasing Assistant

A Leasing Associate at J&T Express is responsible for securing, managing, and maintaining the real estate properties required for the company’s extensive logistics network. This includes warehouse hubs, distribution centers, and drop-off branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Sourcing: Finding strategic locations for new branches, sorting hubs, and storage facilities.
• Lease Negotiation: Negotiating rental rates, terms, and conditions with landlords to minimize operational costs.
• Contract Administration: Processing lease agreements, renewals, and terminations while ensuring legal compliance.
• Landlord Relations: Serving as the main point of contact for property owners to handle issues, repairs, or contract disputes.
• Permit Coordination: Cooperating with internal teams to secure necessary local government permits for newly leased spaces.
• Document Management: Organizing and archiving physical and digital copies of all active lease records.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in commercial leasing, property management, or real estate acquisition.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong bargaining capabilities to secure cost-effective lease terms.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for dealing with property owners and corporate legal teams.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel to field locations for site inspections and landlord meetings.
