Our client Smart Legacy Sdn Bhd is seeking a Leasing / Business Development Executive to join their team!

What you'll be doing:

• Sourcing Opportunities: Discover and engage with potential F&B brands to expand our tenant mix.
• Managing Leases: Oversee the leasing process from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth transitions and renewals.
• Building Relationships: Cultivate a robust pipeline of F&B partners to foster growth and diversity in our outlets.
• Negotiating Deals: Lead negotiations with potential and existing tenants, securing agreements that benefit both parties.
• Optimising Performance: Strategize tenant mix to enhance footfall and boost sales across all locations.
• Collaborating with Operations: Work closely with the operations team to facilitate tenant onboarding and outlet setup.
• Monitoring Success: Track tenant performance and proactively address any challenges to maintain high occupancy rates.
• Conducting Research: Stay ahead of the curve by researching market trends, competitor activities, and rental benchmarks.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Background: A degree in Business, Marketing, Property, or a related field, equipping you with the knowledge to excel in leasing and business development.
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in leasing, business development, or B2B sales within the F&B or retail sector, with a preference for F&B experience.
• Skill Set: Proficiency in negotiation and deal closing, with a knack for lead sourcing and conversion into active partnerships.
• Commercial Insight: A strong understanding of retail or F&B operations, combined with a commercial mindset.
• Communication Acumen: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Independence: Ability to manage multiple outlets and priorities with minimal supervision.
• Mobility: Ownership of transport and willingness to travel within Klang Valley and Johor Bahru, showcasing your commitment to the role.
• **Language Proficiency:**Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese.
