Leasing Consultant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process. Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner
• Conduct property tours, highlighting the features and benefits of each unit
• Respond to inquiries regarding rental availability, lease terms, and application process
• Process rental applications, including conducting background checks and verifying income
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately
• Collect and process rental payments from tenants
• Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections
• Address tenant concerns or maintenance requests promptly and effectively
• Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and other relevant documentation

Experience:

• Previous experience in property leasing or sales is preferred
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable lease terms for both the tenant and the property owner
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with prospective tenants, current tenants, and property owners
• Ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and diplomacy
• Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry, file management, and generating reports
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in lease agreements and other documentation
