Leasing Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding and leasing properties that meet their needs. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will be key in providing excellent customer service and maintaining tenant satisfaction. Bilingual proficiency is preferred but not required.

Duties:

• Greet and assist prospective residents in a professional and friendly manner

• Conduct property tours, highlighting the features and benefits of each unit

• Provide accurate information about rental availability, lease terms, and application process

• Process rental applications, including conducting background checks and verifying income

• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately

• Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including conducting unit inspections

• Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and effectively

• Maintain organized records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance

Experience:

• Previous experience in leasing is required, at least a year experience.

• Familiarity with legal administrative procedures related to leasing and tenant rights

• Proficiency in using property management software such as Yardi or similar platforms

• Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 programs is a plus

• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks

• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
