UNIVERSITY OF GHANA COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES VACANCIES FOR ACADEMIC FACULTY DEPARTMENT OF PHILOSOPHY AND CLASSICS The Department Of Philosophy And Classics, School Of Arts (College Of Humanities), University Of Ghana Invites Applications For The Following Positions:

Lecturer – Classics Qualification:

• A Ph.D. in Classics
• Competence in Ancient Greek language or Latin or both at the postgraduate level.
• Ability to conduct scholarly research at the highest level and attract a funded research programme.
• Show promise in research as demonstrated by publications and conference.
• presentations, as well as strong endorsement by referees.

Lecturer – Classics Qualification:

• A Ph.D. in Classics
• Competence in any two of the following: Ancient Greek or Roman History, Ancient Greek or Roman Philosophy, and Ancient Greek or Roman Literature.
• Ability to conduct scholarly research at the highest level and attract a funded research programme.
• Show promise in research as demonstrated by publications and conference.
• presentations, as well as strong endorsement by referees.
