Responsibilities:

• To review, update, and develop lesson plans, schemes of work, lectures/practical, tutorials, assignments, and class discussions in compliance with the syllabus.
• To conduct lectures, tutorials, and discussions to facilitate teaching and learning.
• To supervise final year projects/dissertations.
• To monitor and report student progress in terms of academic performance and attendance.
• To set and mark assessments.
• To provide academic counselling and pastoral care to all students.
• To be involved in research activities.
• To participate in other functions or in any extracurricular activities as and when required.

Requirements:

• Must possess at least a master’s degree majoring in IT/Computer Science or any related discipline. Candidates who are majoring in Artificial Intelligence or Cyber Security and Networks will be given top priority and will stand a higher chance of being shortlisted.
• Preferably with 2-3 years of working experience in teaching, especially in tertiary education.
• Preferably have registered as a Graduate Technologist (GT) or have completed the assessment as a Professional Technologist (PT) from MBOT.
• Passionate about teaching and willing to go the extra mile to provide quality teaching to students.
• Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in facilitating teaching and learning.
• Good presentation skills and command of written and spoken English.
