Lecturer in Accounting

• To offer students a high quality learning experience to achieve the goal or qualification for which they are studying.
• To teach effectively on a range of courses and programmes in various campuses.
• To contribute to the personal development of the students.
• To develop course materials, schemes of work, lesson plans etc. and make these available through the colleges shared information system.
• To contribute to the organisational requirements of the Department and the College.
• To carry out all duties and responsibilities with due regard to the policies and practices of the institution.
• To co-operate with the institution in order to ensure his/her own health and safety, and that of students and colleagues.
• To teach on a range of daytime and evening programmes offered by the institution.
• To teach on programmes in other College service delivery areas as may be reasonably required.
• Tutorial and personal development work with a range of students.
• Assist in the planning, design and development of new programmes.
• Conduct research on existing programmes in the market to inform the curriculum development team in the planning and design of new programmes.

Job requirements

• Master in relevant field of study.
• Preferably ACCA qualified.
• Minimum 1-3 years teaching experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Pro-active and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and a good team player.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
