Lecturer (Nursing)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, test and examination questions preparation by ensuring it is compliance with the Malaysian Nursing Board standards.
• Monitor class attendance and to report any absenteeism, and to always maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
• Provide pastoral care to support the overall development of the students, engaging in activities, provide quality teaching and clinical practice placement experience to the students.
• Participate in professional, academic and other relevant activities, at national and international levels to obtain professional qualifications to enhance teaching and learning experience.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor in Nursing or Master in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with the Malaysian Nursing Board (LKM) possessing a current and valid Annual Practice Certificate (APC).
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical working experience as a Registered Nurse. Teaching or clinical instructing experience is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English language
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills; demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning and academic excellence.
