Lecturer, Nursing

Responsibilities:

• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, test and examination questions preparation by ensuring it is in compliance with the Malaysian Nursing Board standards.
• Monitor class attendance and to report any absenteeism, and to always maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
• Provide pastoral care to support the overall development of the students, engaging in activities, and provide quality teaching and clinical practice placement experience to the students.
• Participate in professional, academic and other relevant activities at national and international levels to obtain professional qualifications to enhance teaching and learning experience.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor / Master in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse.
• Possess a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) for nurses or a Temporary Practising Certificate (TPC) for foreigners.
• Possess post-basic qualification.
• Has a minimum of five (5) years of clinical working experience as a registered nurse.
• Having lecturing experience is an added advantage.
• Prior experience as Programme Leader is an added advantage.
