Legal Assistant

Whitten Law Office LLC is a growing medium-sized law firm, which focuses its practice on, and service clients in, the transportation and insurance industries primarily in Indiana and Kentucky. Our office has an opening for an EXPERIENCED legal assistant with at least three years of experience in litigation. This full-time position provides flexibility for the qualified candidate to work primarily on a remote basis. We will offer the successful candidate a competitive salary with additional wages for health insurance procurement, disability insurance, 401K, profit sharing, and paid time off benefits.

Qualifications:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

· Proficient in basic computer functionality.

· Experience with both state and federal court filing (Indiana and Kentucky).

· Experience in calendaring court dates and case deadlines for multiple attorneys.

· Excellent proofreading, spelling and grammar skills.

· Ability to prioritize.

· Detail-oriented and possess superior organization skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively.

· Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
