About the role

PT The Paralian Uluwatu is seeking a Legal professional to join our team on a contract basis. This role is positioned within our growing legal department and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the legal operations of our organisation. Based in Badung, Bali, this position will involve providing essential legal support and paralegal services to ensure compliance and effective legal management across the company. This is a contract role that will allow you to make an immediate impact whilst maintaining flexibility in your working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal research and analysis to support the legal team and senior management
• Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements
• Assist with regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to local and national legal requirements
• Support litigation preparation and case management activities
• Maintain and organise legal files, documentation, and records
• Conduct due diligence investigations and compile findings for legal review
• Assist with legal correspondence and communication with external parties, including government agencies and third-party organisations
• Support contract negotiations and provide guidance on terms and conditions
• Contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Qualification or certification as a law clerk, paralegal, or equivalent legal qualification recognised in Indonesia
• Demonstrated experience in legal support roles, ideally within a commercial or corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian legal framework and regulatory requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Proficiency in legal research and document drafting
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with legal research tools and office management software
• Professional demeanour and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong organisational skills and time management capabilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
