Job Title: Legal Executive

Location: Bangalore (Head Office)

Job Type: Full-time

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in a corporate legal role, preferably in an MNC or similar corporate environment. (Preference to candidates based in Bangalore only.)

We are a leading HVAC and MEP solutions provider delivering turnkey projects across the commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. With a strong commitment to compliance, ethical standards, and client satisfaction, we are looking to expand our Legal team with a sharp, detail-oriented, and business-savvy legal professional.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, vendor agreements, subcontractor agreements, service level agreements and NDAs.
2. Supporting litigation management and liaising with external counsel for dispute resolution, arbitration, and court matters.
3. Advising internal teams (Sales, Finance, Commercial, Projects, HR, Procurement) on contract interpretation, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
4. Assisting in managing legal risks and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
5. Maintaining and organizing legal records, contract databases, and statutory compliance trackers
6. Assisting in the development of internal legal frameworks, policies, and SOPs to ensure process integrity.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Educational Qualification: Must have a Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B.)/BBA LL.B. from a reputed university.

2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant corporate legal experience, ideally in a multinational corporation or reputed law firm in Bangalore. Experience in handling corporate, commercial, or infrastructure projects will be preferred but not mandatory.

3. Skills & Competencies:

4. Strong knowledge of the Indian Contract Act, Arbitration and Reconciliation Act, Labour Laws, Companies Act, and applicable environmental regulations.

5. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

6. Proficient in MS Office and document management tools.

7. Ability to interpret legal language into practical, business-friendly solutions.

8. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

9. High ethical standards and attention to detail.

10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:

1. Strong attention to detail, sound legal drafting skills, and the ability to review and interpret commercial contracts.
2. A practical, solution-oriented approach with the ability to work collaboratively with business, project, commercial, and functional teams.
3. Familiarity with contract management, compliance processes, and legal technology platforms will be an added advantage.
4. Exposure to contracts and legal matters relating to the MEP, engineering, infrastructure, EPC, or allied industries will be preferred.
5. Basic understanding of arbitration, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
