About the role

We are seeking a Property & Commercial Legal Executive (5+ years’ experience) to join our busy and well-regarded Whakatane team.

This is a varied and hands-on role working across a broad range of property and commercial matters. You will work closely with our Partners and Lawyers, while also managing your own files and building strong client relationships.

Your work will include:

• Residential and commercial conveyancing transactions
• Refinancing and lending matters
• Subdivisions and developments
• Commercial leasing, including drafting and advising on agreements
• Due diligence and reporting
• Managing files from instruction through to settlement

About you

You are an experienced Legal Executive who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.

You will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Legal Executive, ideally in property and/or commercial law
• Strong conveyancing experience and knowledge of Landonline processes
• The ability to manage files independently from start to finish
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
• The ability to prioritise competing deadlines
• A collaborative and team-oriented mindset
