Legal Intern

About the role

Adyasta Consulting is seeking a passionate and motivated Legal Intern to join our Corporate & Commercial Law team in Denpasar, Bali. This is a full-time internship position that offers an exceptional opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate and commercial legal matters whilst working alongside experienced legal professionals. As a Legal Intern, you will support our team in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients, gaining valuable insight into the operations of a professional legal practice and developing your legal expertise in a real-world environment.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting senior lawyers in conducting legal research on corporate and commercial law matters
• Reviewing and analysing commercial contracts and legal documents
• Drafting legal memoranda and correspondence under supervision
• Supporting the preparation of legal opinions and advice for clients
• Gathering and organising legal documentation and case materials
• Assisting with due diligence processes for corporate transactions
• Contributing to the development of legal templates and precedent documents
• Attending client meetings and legal proceedings as appropriate
• Maintaining accurate and organised legal files and records

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Law or a related legal qualification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research using both traditional and digital resources
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and legal research databases
• A professional demeanour and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop practical legal knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with Indonesian legal systems and corporate law practices is advantageous
