Legal Internship

• Assist the legal and taxation team in researching Direct and Indirect Tax laws.
• Conduct legal research relating to Income Tax, GST and other applicable taxation laws.
• Assist in preparing research notes, legal opinions and tax-related documentation.
• Assist in reviewing tax notices, orders, notifications and departmental communications.
• Research relevant case laws, judgments, circulars and government notifications.
• Assist in preparing client-related documents and maintaining legal records.
• Support the team in GST and Income Tax compliance-related assignments.
• Assist senior consultants and legal professionals with ongoing taxation assignments.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and company records.
• Perform other legal and taxation research work as assigned by senior team members.

Eligibility

• Pursuing LLB / 3-Year LLB / 5-Year Integrated Law Course.
• Students currently in 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th year may apply.
• Candidates with a strong interest in Taxation Law will be preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Income Tax and GST is required.
• Good legal research and drafting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Word and basic MS Office.
• Candidates who have completed a taxation-related internship will have an added advantage.
